Jeffrey C. Wheaton

Jeffrey “Jeff” Carl Wheaton of Toto, age 66 passed away on Sunday March 13 th , 2022 at Guam Memorial
Hospital. Jeff was born on April 18 th , 1955 to Loren D. Wheaton and Joan E. Wheaton of Corning, New
York. He was a graduate of Corning-Painted Post West Side High School (1973), Corning Community
College (1980), and University of Tennessee (1984). He was a Cold War era Army veteran and served the
federal government as an agricultural-civil engineer for 40 years. Jeff was a member of the National and
Guam Society of Professional Engineers, American Society of Agricultural Engineers, Veterans of
Lansingburg, Republican National Committee, and participated in the community with his children as a
Boy Scout Troop Leader and PTO member at J.Q.San Miguel Elementary School. Jeff loved his family and
friends always striving to making life better for those on Guam.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Rufina “Fina” Wheaton; children, Reynie (Paiya) Villaflor, Alistina Wheaton,
Loren S. Wheaton, and Samuel Wheaton; siblings Tom Wheaton, and Karl (Teresina) Wheaton; sisters
and brothers-in-law, Felisa Regalado, Asun (Willie) Demapan, David (Lerma) Regalado, Eugenio (Gloria)
Regalado, Gleceria Regalado, and Rosalia Regalado; as well as numerous nieces and nephews across the
globe.
Family and friends are invited to his memorial service at Ada’s Funeral Home in Sinajana on Monday,
April 4 th , 2022 at 9:00am – 12:00pm. His burial will immediately follow services at Guam Veteran’s
Cemetery.
